Initiated and run by Jean-Claude Fauchère (Zurich), Mathias Nelle (Berne/Baden) and Riccardo Pfister (Geneva) neo4neo is a training program for future neonatologists working in Switzerland. Its principal goals are, to offer junior doctors interested in developing a career in neonatal medicine or taking care specifically of neonates, state-of-the-art interactive teaching on key topics of Neonatology and Perinatology and to establish close relationships between trainers and trainees as well as between trainees.
The next NEO4NEO course will be held from Wednesday May 27th to Saturday May 30th, 2026, in Moeschberg, Canton Bern. Please only apply if you can commit to the complete duration of the program starting on Wednesday around 6:30pm, closing on Saturday around 2:30pm.

The deadline for application is November 30, 2025. We will make sure that, after prioritization, we can give you a definite answer by the end of the year.
The criteria for prioritization are as follows:
- having participated to previous neo4neo courses
- unsuccessful application to the previous neo4neo course
- working experience in pediatrics and neonatal medicine
- in training to become a neonatologist at the function level of fellow or higher
- first come, first served (the total number of participants is given by the availability of rooms at the venue)
- moreover, we will make sure that there is a fair and balanced distribution among the different neonatal units across the country
